Terry’s one-woman show, LESBO SOLO: A Brief & Personal History of the Gay Rights Movement, premiered at the 2024 San Francisco Fringe Festival, where it earned “Best of Fringe” honors and captivated audiences. Blending humor, honesty, and history, Terry shares her nearly fifty-year journey through the evolving landscape of LGBTQ+ rights. Her performance resonates deeply - especially with younger audiences - offering both a personal reflection and a living record of resilience and pride.

Angelica offers engaging lectures and PowerPoint presentations—both in person and virtual—for women’s groups, libraries, bookstores, schools, and book clubs. Her programs draw from her acclaimed biographies Arm in Arm: The Grimké Sisters’ Fight for Abolition and Women’s Rights (Zest Books, 2025) and Born Criminal: Matilda Joslyn Gage, Radical Suffragist (South Dakota Historical Society Press, 2018). She also brings history to young audiences through her picture books The Voice of Liberty (SDHSP, 2020) and The Secret Gardens of Frances Hodgson Burnett (Bushel & Peck, 2024).
