HERstory Musical Shows

The HERstory Duo (Anita Kallen and Catherine Thomson) celebrates women’s history, resilience, and achievement through powerful narrative and songs.

Anita and Catherine bring history to life, inspiring audiences to reflect on their own stories of individual and community empowerment. Drawing from a diverse musical repertoire—including Broadway classics, the Great American Songbook, pop hits, and original parodies—the HERstory Duo is praised for their expressive solo vocals, tight harmonies, and “smart with heart” connection with audiences. The HERstory Musical Show Series is meticulously researched and crafted as a form of edutainment that takes their audiences on a journey that entertains, educates, moves, and inspires. Performances have been presented in venues ranging from intimate clubs to large auditoriums, libraries, faith-based organizations, and senior centers, with each program thoughtfully tailored to its audience.
