K–12 School Partnership Details
What Does the National Women’s History Alliance Request?
Participation in the 2027 campaign is completely free of charge thanks to the support of our university and corporate partners.
We ask each participating school to:
- Honor one local icon whose life or work reflects the 2027 theme of Financial Literacy, Liberation, and Leadership.
Honorees may include:- Business or economics educators
- School financial officers or treasurers
- Local entrepreneurs and business leaders
- Historic women leaders from your region’s industries or institutions
- Encourage students, faculty, and staff to research and nominate potential honorees from their community.
- Select your school’s honoree by November 1, 2026. The National Women’s History Alliance will publish and celebrate a national roster of participating schools and their selected icons.
- Participate in a nationwide digital celebration on International Women’s Day by posting a tribute to your honoree on Facebook, Instagram, and/or TikTok using #MarchOfIcons and #NWHA2027.
