Presenter Listing Guidelines

We are honored to have you as NWHA Performer, Author, or Speaker listed on our NWHA website. It is important that you carefully read through all of the requirements here included. Note that your content and images MUST meet all of the requirements to have the images and content is to be uploaded onto website.

*** Do not put date specific events as any information you upload will remain for the 12 month period of your listing.

** The listing you purchased is for 12 months. NWHA will attempt to contact you a month prior to the expiration of your listing, however, it is ultimately the performer’s responsibility to renew their listing prior to the last day of their renewal month. Therefore, to ensure there is no disruption in your service, NWHA recommends renewing your listing at the beginning of your renewal month.

Photo/Images

  • All images must be in one of the following formats JPG, PDF, GIF, PNG
  • All images must be between 500 pixels to 2,000 pixels wide.
  • Send images separately and not embedded in the text document.
  • Images will be displayed in a column next to the text and not interwoven in the text.
  • A single larger collage or ad can be added in the main content – no more than 500 pixels high
  • When sending images from a mobile device – send as Original size or resolution
  • When sending images from an Apple computer File>Export as Original File
  • Photos will not be captioned. You may embed a caption on the photo if you know how.
  • Maximum 6 photos can be installed.
  • All images must be clear. Avoid blurry images.

Content

  • All information and content must be sent on a plain pdf, word doc or google doc
  • Our web designer will format all content to fit the design of the page so avoid fancy fonts, highlighted words, etc. Do not all cap text. Only the name of the performer will be all capped.
  • Format info as you see in the examples below. After the Performance Description, the rest of your content will be installed such as bios, testimonials, events, etc.. Review other examples on the site.
  • Don’t include addresses, phone numbers or emails you don’t want the public to see.
  • Ensure the content is current and will not expire prior to the expiration of your listing, as we will be unable to update content on your site once it is published.
  • A description must not be more than 500 words.

1) Contact Information

This information will be placed on the NWHA website. Only use current information you are comfortable with being viewed by the public.

2) Details /Content (max 450 words)

This portion of your listing provides a short overview including a description of no more than 450 words that can be broken into two parts.

  • Presentation Description: Provide a short summary of what you will bring to your presentation.
    Consider how to appeal to an organization that would be hiring you,
  • Highlight aspects of your work It is optional to use your remaining 450 words to highlight specific components of your presentation or performance.

List of States

If you are being listed as a state presenter, please include all requested states in your listing.
