Our speakers will explore Murray’s profound contributions to civil rights, gender equality, and social justice, as well as how her work continues to inspire future generations.
The session will include a panel discussion on the contemporary relevance of Murray’s legacy and how we can apply her visionary ideas to today’s fight for equity and inclusion. There will also be time for Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue.

The NWHA’s Black Women’s History Committee presents “A Dialogue about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging” with Reverend Vivica Keyes and Timshel Tarbet. Vivica Keyes is an ordained minister, prolific writer, and owner of PRAZEUP Inc. publishing, with extensive missionary experience. Timshel Tarbet is a Human Resource Executive at Providence Health Plan, where she leads diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and ensures health equity is integrated across the organization’s strategy.
